Commencing in Fremantle, where we picked up a Kea campervan, we travelled south then east along the coast to Walpole and Denmark before heading north into wheat country and turning west at Merredin to travel to York to watch the Royal Wedding on TV on Friday 29 April.
We then took the inland route to Newman and up to Port Hedland then heading north-east to Broome. Our return journey to Perth included a diversion to Exmouth before taking the western coastal route south to the Swan River Valley.
